A friend of mine took his son from judo clubs, citing the fact that judo adversely affect the child's growth. Is it so?

We believe that judo classes do not affect the growth of the child. It is rather a question of genetics and heredity. In the so-called "high" sports (basketball, volleyball, handball, rowing and academic etc.) do not have these types of classes athletes high, but rather they "found" or selected from a total of wanting to play sports. If judo lessons negative impact on growth, judo competitions were held only in the weight category of 60 kg and 66kh where athletes approximate length from 160 to 170 cm. But there is another category of 73 kg (approx. Height 170-180 cm) 81 kg (approx. 170-185sm height), 90 kg (approx. 180-190sm height), 100 kg (approx. 180-195 cm increase) 100 kg (approx. 180-200 cm growth and more).
